What did the Industrial Revolution look like?

The Industrial Revolution A major change occurring in the 18th, 19th and early 20th century Goods are manufactured by machines rather than by hand. Factories MASS PRODUCE goods in large quantities to satisfy increased needs and wants of European populations

How does the Industrial Revolution affect the geography of Europe?

Industrial Revolution & Geography Cities begin to grow in size, population, and importance as people move from the countryside to get jobs in factories. This is called URBANIZATION. NATURAL RESOURCES (coal, iron, etc.) become vital in running factories and finding fresh sources becomes important.
