Exploratory Day May 3rd, 2019 Signup starts Monday You must have a signed preapproval form signed by a parent to get out of KORT. Your KORT teacher will be checking them. You will be called down over the intercom by specific areas of the building. Wait in your KORT until you hear your area announced. Please walk in the hallway

UPSTAIRS COMPUTER LAB ONLY use the stairway by the Choir Room. Mr. Odegard’s KORT will be reading on the other stairway and will NOT let you through. Follow the directions of the teachers on how to line up when you get upstairs. Show the teachers your signed form and enter the room. Choose well! Switching activities after registering is not allowed. The activity you choose is the main focus of the day— it’s not if you are with your friends.

Signing up Quickly get in a line and give your preapproval form to the teacher at the computer. Tell the teacher your student ID number and watch them type it into the computer. Write your student ID number down on the backup paper copy. Pick up the activity permission slip and quickly go back to KORT. YOU MUST BE SIGNED UP FOR AN ACTIVITY OR HAVE AN EXCUSED ABSENCE IN THE OFFICE. EVERYONE MUST BE ACCOUNTED FOR ON MAY 3rd.

Activities Fill Up! Remember that when an activity has met its maximum number of students, that activity is full and closed. Be sure to have multiple back ups in case your 1st, 2nd, or even 3rd option is full! Full/Closed activities will be displayed on the TV’s and school Website all week.

Bringing money Don’t bring money on the day you sign up. Bring your money and your signed permission form to the teacher that is in charge of your activity as soon as possible. THE NEXT DAY AFTER YOU SIGN UP WOULD BE GREAT! Thursday MARCH 7th Permission Forms/Fees and Meeting

Thursday, March 7th You will be meeting with your Exploratory Day teachers on Thursday, March 7th. They will give you more information about your activity on May 3rd. You should have your permission form and money handed in at this point so the school can write checks to the place of the activity.
