Syllabus Objective: explain the need for a consistent house style in an organisation;

House Style a set of rules followed on all documents set out by a company or organisation to maintain a consistent appearance. the public will become familiar with an organisation's house style will recognise it immediately.

House Style features fonts to be used, the different paragraph styles, the layout of documents any graphics that can be used the company’s colour scheme may be utilised logos are part of a company or organisation's house style. many logos are immediately recognisable and help the public to relate to a company or organisation a house style uses templates and macros, make the use of the style easier. headed paper can be used (the style may include the setting of the top page margin).
