The Battle of Quebec at the Plains of Abraham By AC

The British Army The British army was lead by Major- General James Wolfe and had about 4500 men and one gun Each soldier had a musket, a short sword, and ammunition http://www.voki.com/pickup.php?scid=5183693&height=267&width=200

The French Army The French army was lead by the Marquis de Montcalm and had about 5000 men and three guns http://www.voki.com/pickup.php?scid=5183675&height=267&width=200

The Battle of Quebec started on December 31, 1775 between the French Army and the British defenders of Quebec at the Plains of Abraham. http://www.voki.com/pickup.php?scid=5183702&height=267&width=200

General John Wolfe had a bold plan to capture Quebec; he knew that Montcalm only had a few troops guarding the cliff because he thought it was too steep. Late at night, Wolfe ordered the British troops to row boats to the foot of the cliff and climb up to the top. In the morning, Montcalm woke up to a surprise. 4000 British troops were assembled and ready for battle. http://www.voki.com/pickup.php?scid=5183720&height=267&width=200

When the fighting had finished, the two generals, Wolfe and Montcalm both lay dead http://www.voki.com/pickup.php?scid=5183729&height=267&width=200
