What is Matter?

Matter – Anything that has mass and takes up space. Mass – The amount of material that an object has in it. (measured by triple beam balance) Volume – The amount of space that matter takes up. (measured by graduated cylinder) Physical Properties – observable properties of an object such as color, texture and size.
