Introduction to EU CBRN Support package – Technical assistance project and supply project 2.3M € Focus on training and capacity building One military component (Italy) civilian (France), and one for joint trainings Service (i.e. training) 1.2M€ Focus on advanced equipment (military) and basic one (civilian) Several providers, from over 10 EU and non-EU countries Supply (i.e. equipment) Total EU Support 3.5M €

Goal for Lebanon at the end of the project - ISF -> Set-up an operation SWAT, trained and equipped to operate on a CBRN operation -> Possess technical capacities (and equipment) to investigate a CBRN contaminated crime scene
Goal for Lebanon at the end of the project - Civil Defence and Firefighters -> Set-up 24/7 a complete team (6 persons) and 3 pairs (3x2) ready to perform rescues operations in a CBRN context (truck accident, industrial fire, mass contamination…)
Goal for Lebanon at the end of the project – Governmental Guards -> Strengthen the CBRN protection capacities for Government Officials and VIPs
Goal for Lebanon at the end of the project - LAF -> Strengthen defensive military capabilities in CBRN, ensuring inter alia the full training (6 levels) of the CBRN regiment, Training of Trainers for Border Regiments and intermediate trainings for Military Police (forensics Unit)
