SRT

Expectations SRT is a study environment You must have something to work on: homework, book to read, etc. Cell Phones: Should not be in use. You can tell me if there is a specific need to use it. Big 3 in SRT…

Big 3 in SRT Check Email Check Grades Check Falcon News

Procedures You should be seated when the bell rings and beginning to check the Big 3. This lasts 10 minutes. A sign out sheet is located on the iPad cart. You must sign in/out whenever you leave the room. A bell will indicate when you can sign out

Procedures cont. Wednesdays: 10 minutes for Big 3 Time is used for various presentations/ activities. First 10 days: Digital Citizenship

Scenario 1 You are working on an assignment during class. The bell rings and you still aren’t sure what you’re doing. What action do you take?

Scenario 2 You have been getting low grades in math class recently. What action do you take?

Scenario 3 You are working on English in SRT and have no idea how to do the next section. What action do you take?

Scenario 4 You’ve been working really hard on a project during SRT and also taking it home each night. You’re so close to finishing and doing a good job on it but there’s no way you’ll finish it in time for the due date. What action do you take?

Scenario 5 You just checked your grades and you’re missing an assignment you thought you had turned in. What action do you take?

Scenario 6 You aren’t getting your science done during SRT each day. What action do you take?

Other Information Library visits are 10 min. Tutoring is Monday-Thursday 3:15-4:15 in the Commons Tuesday Aug 15: 10th Grade meets with Mr. Jones in the Auditorium
