Vocabulary Domestication: the process of taming an animal and keeping it as a pet or on a farm; the cultivation of a plant for food. Adaptation: a change or the process of change by which an organism or species becomes better suited to its environment. Culture: the customs, arts, social institutions, and achievements of a particular nation, people, or other social group. (How one lives) Artifact: an object made by a human being, typically an item of cultural or historical interest.
