Highlights of My Paper The dread that I used to feel heading to work 6 months-1 year into nursing I was in a very negative mindset and was already experiencing burn out “Ah-ha” moment that changed my thinking and improved my practice

What I Learned I need to process the emotional side of nursing – poor prognosis, death, scary diagnosis, etc. – not just acknowledge it
