Lesson 52: Is, Ea, Id forms Masculine Feminine Neuter Nominative Singular is ea id Genitive eius Dative ei Accusative eum eam Ablative eo eā Nominative Plural eae eorum earum eis eos eas

Lesson 51: Is, Ea, Id meaning hic – this, refers to object close by ille – that, refers to object further away is – this/that/he/she/it, refers to an object just mentioned “is” is less emphatic than either hic or ille

Lesson 51: Is, Ea, Id demonstrative pronoun Like all pronouns, is replaces a noun or pronoun N.B. that gender is based on the object it replaces. Not all “its” will use the neuter form e.g. “specto pecuniam”, “specto eam”

Lesson 51: Is, Ea, Id demonstrative adjective Like all adjectives, forms of is have the same case, number and gender as what they modify e.g. ea aqua (“this water” or “that water”)
