Author Information 4. Read the “Meet the Writer” section on page 16. Make a list of at least three important facts you learn about the author. Circle the one detail you think is the most important.

What was the main conflict he faced and how did he resolve that conflict? How did resolving the conflict affect the character? Be sure to include specific details from the text in your response.
