Fred Bear By Caleb White

Fred Bear Born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania on March 5,1902

Fred Bear Left his family at 21 Didn’t start bow hunting until he was 29

Fred Bear Started crafting his own bows arrows and strings In 1933 he started building bow as a way to make extra money

Within six years, the archery business demanded Fred's fulltime attention

Fred Bear In 1939 he formed Bear Archery Company and soon was traveling around the world

Fred Bear He had many quotes but a famous one is “There is more fun hunting with the handecap of a bow than there is in the sureness of a rifle

Fred Bear Fred Bear died in Gainesville, Florida On April 27, 1988. He was 86 years old. He died of natural causes
