Poetry entered at a young age At a time of my life Quite an early stage

Expressing an interest The options to choose from They're limitless

It can be real or fake There's no right or wrong No one saying there's a mistake

If happy, the clouds are filled with illustrious things Nice to Imagine If sad, the birds in the distance have darkened wings

Only thoughts enter the reader's mind What's going to come next Who knows what they'll find

Like any good book A story can be told Instead of unraveling by chapters, the poem slowly unfolds
