Starter In your group recap the two studies from last lesson: Walster et al. (1966) Murstein (1972)

Learning Objective: To continue your personal investigation into the matching hypothesis. Success Criteria: Recap the studies by Walster et al. and Murstein. Conduct internet research into the matching hypothesis and find at least one more study into the theory. Create your instructions, consent form and debrief from last lesson. Challenge Begin creating a photo sheet of 10 couples.

Research task Try and find some additional information about Walster et al. and Murstein’s research. Whenever you visit a webpage make sure that you keep a copy of the web address and write today’s date next to it.

Research task Your task is to now find 1-2 more studies into the matching hypothesis. You can use the textbooks in the classroom, or you can use the internet. Whichever source you use, you must reference it in your bibliography.
