Year 8 Figure Drawing Seated Figure

Homework Draw a seated figure on a sofa Think about proportions Draw in detail Add folds in the cloth Put detail in the hands Make sure it is fully Shaded

Remember the proportions of the body from last lesson – See the board as a reminder. The body will loose a head when sitting down – remember the waist to the knees is usually X2 heads – here it is only one. This was done in watercolour and the sitter posed for two days. Notice the different tones in the skin and the natural pose that she holds.
