Spring Term Class 3 Music We are going to be exploring musical patterns and rhythms. GEOGRAPHY We will be studying earthquakes and volcanoes in our geography work this half term RE We will be learning about inspirational people from the past including Moses, Jesus and Mohamed SCIENCE In science we will be learning about rocks and soil P.E This half term we working on producing a piece of dance. FRENCH We have a weekly French session where we will be learning basic vocabulary through songs and games. This half terms focuses on games and numbers to 20 Spring Term Class 3 LITERACY This half term most of our literacy work will be focused on our book The Firework-makers Daughter by Philp Pullman. We will be writing our own descriptive writing, newspaper reports and poster. There will also be regular reading and spelling sessions. MATHS Our maths work will cover the usual range of topics including problem solving, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. We will also be working on our multiplication tables PSHE Our focus this half term will be around money. This will include thinking about jobs, charity and how to handle money. ICT We will be using the internet to create a presentation. This will link with our Science and English work.
