Event Signage Using signs are a great way to inform, direct & organize your guests. Understand the type of signage you may need & your options in posting said signs.

Signage The use of signage helps: Prevent patrons getting lost/missing (Directional) Provide assurance of belonging (Registration / Check-in) Increases awareness of special areas & special event policies, processes (Policy) Prevent attractive nascence situations (Restricted Access) Create assurance of safety and prevent hazards (Safety) Student Center Administration can provide sandwich boards, easels and other materials to assist you in developing a means to communicate your message & improve your patrons ability to know what is going on & find their way Please remember that there shall be no posting on University common surfaces (walls, glass, etc.). For help posting signage, please contact Student Centers Administration

Event Policy Signage For crowd control related to heightened security risk activities, event policy signage & special event’s publicity must include & be posted outside of the event’s venue: No Backpacks, containers, large bags, knives, box cutters, weapons / personal protection sprays, food and beverages No disruptive or disorderly behavior such as fighting moshing, body slamming or body surfing will be permitted. Violators will be removed from the special event with no refund. All participants consent to being taped upon entry into Student Centers facilities during any special event. If necessary, footage will be used in criminal & student conduct proceedings should any type of misconduct occur No persons possessing or are under the influence of alcohol or other controlled substances will be admitted Coat Check is required. No hats, hoodies, head scarfs, etc. are permitted in the venue Carry-in items are subject to search
