Unit 3. ELT Materials and their Selection Criteria: The Korean Case Name: ______________ Date: __________ Student No.: __________ Score: _________ Unit 3: ELT Materials & Selection Criteria: The Korean Case (Dr. Ian Done D. Ramos, 2017)

English language benefits or issues in Korea Your Opinion or Research Activity 2: Research on the English language benefits in Korea, and then give your opinions or comments. English language benefits or issues in Korea Your Opinion or Research Note: If research, write the source or reference after paragraphs. Example: There are many native speakers in Korea. Part of the government’s project is to invite many native speakers of English to come to Korea and teach students at all levels. Students have plenty of benefits due to direct exposure to authentic conversation-based classes where they could learn the accent, useful expressions, and communicative strategies. However, less confident students may tend to step backward due to fear of communicative challenges. Thus, foreign teachers should utilize innovative methods to encourage them to participate in the communicative activities. Unit 3: ELT Materials & Selection Criteria: The Korean Case (Dr. Ian Done D.
