Faculty Development Program ILT#2 Overview

Goals of the Faculty Development Program Leadership Teaching skills Gender-sensitive pedagogy Just a reminder of the overall goals of this program-we have a session this morning to focus on how it’s going and address any questions or concerns.

How Will your Participation be Assessed? Criteria % Personal Portfolio 70% Successful demonstration of facilitation skills 10% Successful demonstration of demonstration skills Successful demonstration of coaching skills This is a development program, so the assessment methods used are different-rather than a multiple choice test, completion requires both a change management project focused on educational quality, as well as submitting a personal portfolio. (refer to the syllabus for details on assessment). We will explain more about the portfolio later in the week.
