The Mead Infant School October 2014 AFRICAN VISION MALAWI The Mead Infant School October 2014

Malawi is in Africa

We look after children who are orphans or very poor

They live in villages with mud houses with grass roofs

Sometimes they get their water from dug wells or a water hole

If they are lucky they have a borehole

They eat maize (corn), beans, pumpkins, cabbage, tomatoes, groundnuts

We encourage children to go to school

We give them a uniform

Nyani, Gaynor and I visited Mtemembalame Primary.

We presented the lovely pack of letters you sent to them.

Some boys entertained us by acting out a play.

We told the children about our seasons and different weather.

Gaynor dressed up to help them to understand.

We gave them a special school partnership bear .

We looked inside a classroom. Is it the same as yours?

Children play football in bare feet on very rough ground.

We were presented with a pack of letters for you all.

Thank you for your friendship, help and support.
