Do Now 5.10 (Pass forward labs) Objective: Describe species and the process of speciation. Task: What are the two types of vascular tissue in plants called, and what do they transport? Give an example of feedback in any biological system. What specialized structure makes an organism a mollusk, and what does it do?

Evolution 101: UC Berkeley www.evolution.berkeley.edu This is an excellent resource for learning about all things evolutionary. Today, we’ll explore “speciation,” part of the Evolution 101 module there.
