Download the OverDrive App

Open the app; click “Under 13”

Click “Add a Library” Search for Gorzycki

Click “Gorzycki Middle School” and then “Austin ISD”

Click “select one” and choose Gorzycki Middle School

Sign in! Username: your student ID with no “s” Password: Gorzycki (make sure you use a capital G)

You should see this home page: You can search for books using the magnifying glass icon When you find a book you like, click on the the cover and select “borrow” ←

Adding a Library You can have both the Austin Public Library and the Gorzycki Library linked on your Overdrive account

Click on the menu button in the top left corner (three horizontal lines) and select “add a library”

Search for “Austin Public Library” and select your branch

Sign in!

Click on the person icon to view your check-outs ↑

After you check out a book, you still need to download it in order to read offline: 1. Click “Download” 2. Choose your format 3. Click “confirm & add to app”

Click on the menu and then “Bookshelf Click on the menu and then “Bookshelf.” Click on the title to begin reading Menu

Switching between libraries Q: I want to look at Gorzycki’s library, but when I click “Add Title” it brings me to APL. What do I do? A: Go to the menu and select Austin ISD
