hype or need? For many young people it is a dream to become entrepreneur Contribution of SME’s to the economy of emerging countries is significant The role of small and medium sized companies on the real gross domestic product (GDP) growth, new job creation and reduction of poverty is recognized at a worldwide level (Muller, et.al, 2014; OECD, 2014; Chowdhury, 2011) Entrepreneur skills development does not play a key role in present day education entrepreneurship programs mainly focus on developing small business management and planning competencies

Entrepreneurial Skills development: a matter of talent? A coretalent is nature + potential + intrinsic motivation Not everybody has the relevant talents to be successful entrepreneur Example of entrepreneurial Talents are: Entrepreneurship and risk taking Strategic insight Initiative and autonomy Structure and tactics Commercial and convincing Creativity Curiosity

Entrepreneurial Skills development educational programs should: not only be limited to the economic domain have stronger focus on entrepreneurial mindset & passion have also contemporary focus like innovation and lean-startup have a strong focus on the human factor as Success Factor Have different variants: the is no ‘one size fits all’. Human talent is the basis for the right program
