Pantomiming Pantomime: the art of acting without words. The character is portrayed through gestures, facial expressions and movement. First form of acting. Ex.- Charlie Chaplin (silent movies) Non-verbal communication: communicating without words. Encourages meaningful movements, gestures and animated facial expressions. Judged by appearance and manner and later by what you say and how you say it.

Pantomime Gesture: The movement of any part of your body to help express an idea or emotion. Facial expressions- natural sequence: eyes, mouth, other facial muscles.
