Classroom Management Plan 11th Grade U.S. History Samuel Wood

Classroom Rules Cellphones must be placed face down in front of you on your desk. When someone is speaking you need to give them your silent attention. Raise your hand to speak unless we are working in groups. Keep your hands and feet to yourself. Get along with each other for the 50 minutes that you are in my class. Threat everyone's opinion with respect during our class discussions. Be patient, everyone’s opinion will be heard.

Rewards Individual rewards are given out on Friday for fallowing all of the rules for a week. Students may choose from the following options. Get a pass on one homework assignment for the following week. I will personally call home with a positive message about how awesome you were that week. Class rewards will be awarded daily if everyone follows the rules. (rewards will alternate) The last 15 minutes of class can be spent playing an interactive game on your devises. (example: Kahoot) Watching a relevant video about our subject.

Consequences 1st offence – A verbal warning will be issued. This does not count against your daily or weekly rewards. 2nd offence – A notation will be made in my broken rules book. This time it counts and from here on. 3rd offence – It is time to call home. 4th offence – Your parent(s) or guardian are going to come to school and have a talk with me. 5th offence – The principal will be talking with your parent(s) or guardian. Even though, I will never give up on any of you do not let it get this far because once it does, it is out of my hands.
