There will be a spelling assessment next week on List 6. fill, pass, luck, sing, body, how, out, start, they, use, fuzz, off, quack, neck, wing, & song. We started our first Author Study on Jane Yolen this week! We have been doing predictions about characters while enjoying her dinosaur books. Thanks for sending in your child’s picture. We will be putting the finishing touches on our Favorite Reading spot early next week. Halloween info: Children may wear their Halloween costumes to school on Friday October 26th. We will have a costume parade in the gym around 8:15 in the morning. All parents are welcome to attend the parade. Our class Halloween party will be after lunch Please keep in mind that children will have to wear their Halloween costumes all day at school! They will have to be able to use the restroom on their own and make it through recess while wearing their costume. Plan accordingly! Please make sure to put names on sweatshirts and fleeces!
