An Actual Case In the Garden of Eden What God said (Gen. 2:16-17) Eve knew this (Gen. 3:2-3) The serpent (devil) convinced Eve to doubt what she knew & do otherwise (Gen. 3:1, 4) This business of changing the word of God is not new. It is as old as the Garden of Eden. It is also one of the devices of Satan (2 Cor. 2:11)
Examining The Attitude No one can really understand the Bible There are things that we can know (Jn. 8:32; 1 Jn. 5:13) Suffice to say that the Bible can be understood (Jn. 20:30-31; Rom. 10:17; Eph. 3:3-4)

The Bible is whatever a person makes of it May a person decide that 35 MPH means 65 MPH? May I decide Stop means Go? Why have any warnings then? (Gal. 1:6-9)
God’s Word, As It Is, Is Sufficient Whole counsel of God had been declared (Acts 20:27) We have all that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3) The faith has been revealed once for all (Jude 3) The Scriptures will make one complete (2 Tim. 3:16-17) There is no hint of any addition, subtraction, change or modification anywhere
