Ideas for the Wow’s Differentiation Content- spend in-class time on accelerated or extended content Process- using different methods to “make sense” of what they are learning Compacting, higher order thinking skills, inquiry-based rather than information-based Product- including different learning styles and going beyond written tasks Learning environment- interactions inside and outside of the classroom, extended time limits, and working with mentors Assessment- documenting mastery of standards before the material is taught
