The Junior Doctors’ Contract

To think about Should doctors strike? What is a 7 day NHS? What is a junior doctor? Can we pay for a 7 day NHS? Does the state have a right to impose a contract?

What is a junior doctor?

Doctors, government and the BMA

What do junior doctors earn? Basic salary for junior doctors starts at about £23,000 but increases in the second year to about £28,000. For a doctor in specialist training, the basic salary is between £30,000 and £47,000.
