Advantages of This PHY Proposal Maximizes reuse of the IEEE 802.15.4-2006 standard and avoids reinventing the wheel. Leverages a known/proven/realizable PHY standard/solution. An IEEE 802.15.4-2006 compliant device could easily add a 779-787 MHz band O-QPSK PHY, providing instant multiple sources for the marketplace. A CWPAN compliant device with this PHY could easily incorporate the differences to comply with IEEE802.15.4-2006 and sell to markets outside China.
