P3 Mission, Objectives & Goals MISSION STATEMENT “To serve as the catalyst to create a positive business environment that promotes new investment, job growth, and job retention.” PURPOSE • Stimulate new investment and job creation. • Protect and support existing employment base. • Support the education and training of existing and future workers. • Improve the quality of life for the residents of Pickaway County. • Encourage development of appropriate infrastructure. • Increased focus on product development. 5-YEAR GOALS 1500+ NEW, HIGH QUALITY JOBS $45 MILLION IN NEW PAYROLL $450+ MILLION IN NEW CAPITAL INVESTMENT P3 Mission, Objectives & Goals

How did we get to where we are today? Late 2004-Early 2005 board was re-structured after failed marriage with Ross County CIC and Silverlode Report March 2005 Received large gift from Mary Virginia Hannan In July 2005 CIC Board hired Nate Green as Economic Development Director December 2005 Board hired Resource Development Group to conduct an economic development assessment and funding campaign March 3, 2006 Board held Visioning/Planning Session April, 2006 name changed to Pickaway Progress Partnership

Results of 2006 planning session Planning session participants identified 4 areas for P3 to focus its efforts: Marketing Market and promote Pickaway County Regional advertising and targeted industry marketing Direct and electronic mail campaigns Outreach to economic development network partners Trade show attendance Website – featuring community profiles, demographics, fact sheets, sites, buildings, news, and maps Image Enhancement Results of 2006 planning session
