Next step to becoming a Corporate Lawyer is taking the LSAT during the summer before my senior year at WMU Going to enroll in an LSAT prep class offered by Kaplan- likely to increase LSAT score Take LSAT Goal: (180 being perfect, 120 being the worst) Next Step: LSAT

After law school, I must choose where I want to practice law at, such as Michigan, California, etc. Then in that state I have to take the Bar Exam for that state. The Bar Exam is a test to determine if a certain candidate is able to practice law in that state Must pass in order to practice law Bar Exam

After I pass the Bar Exam I will be able to start looking for jobs What I would do: provide legal assistance involve new business laws and regulations, labor relations, employee contracts, tax issues, civil suits, employee injury, patents, contracts, etc. Possible Jobs: Partners in a firm In-house counsel at a corporation Jobs

Starting salaries depend on where you practice Location Big City or Smaller Town In-house counsel or firm Firm Big firm with over 700 lawyers- starting salaries $165,000 Small firm with only 200 lawyers- starting salaries $105,000 Salaries
