This is my new school, Lillian Schumacher Elementary.

  Sometimes it’s a little hard to go to a new school, especially when you don’t know what it is like. This book will help me get ready for my new school and will show me the special places and the special people that are waiting for ME to arrive!

This is what my kindergarten classroom will look like.

This is the playground where I can slide, jump, run, pretend, and play with my friends during recess!

Mrs. Bright and Mrs. McCubbin. In the library I will be able to check out books and listen to stories with Mrs. Bright and Mrs. McCubbin.

In the music I can sing and play instruments with Mrs. Schwinger.

Ms. Boggs will be my art teacher and will help me draw, paint, or play with clay with my friends.

Mrs. Steenstra and Mr. Farris. This is the gym where I will play all sorts of sports and games during P.E. class. My P.E. teachers will be Mrs. Steenstra and Mr. Farris.

This is the cafeteria where I will eat lunch with my class.

My new school is a special place with VERY special people that are excited to meet a VERY, VERY SPECIAL me!
