From 1st April to 8th April 2006 Our Trip to Finland!! From 1st April to 8th April 2006

The arrival in Espoo and Kauniainen! We landed in Helsinki on Saturday afternoon and our Finnish guests drove us to their houses. We spent the weekend with our host families to begin knowing each other... [...we’re not gonna tell you ‘bout the party at Riikka’s place..!]

Monday In the morning we went to the Kauniaisten Lukio! There our Finnish friends introduced us their school in the canteen, then we visited their beautiful classrooms (we’ll never have nothing like that..!).

Tuesday We visited Kiasma Museum, with its innovative ways of expression!

Tour in Helsinki! During the same day we visited also the main square and walked around the city.

Design District in Helsinki!

Wednesday We went to Helsinki University of Art and Design and Arabia factory to see modern Scandinavian design.

Friday Finishing the work shops and presenting the T-shirts. Finnish lesson for the Italian students… kiitos! Suvi and Chiara present the Comenius Project on the school radio!

Farewell party in Soukanniemi! Some teachers and students had a sauna and the bravest ones also swam into the freezing sea! Meanwhile, the others were eating something and playing games!
