Aim of the Project To analyse mathematics in sports stadia To research on the area and the shape of the tracks , seats , etc of a stadium.

About the stadium It’s a multipurpose sports arena. It’s the 51st largest stadium in the world. Its named after the 1st prime minister of India.

Area and the shape covered by the stadium The stadium covers an area of 4,04,686 sqm. The stadium is oval in shape.

Track of the stadium It is a 400m track It consists of 9 lanes

Roof of the stadium The dimension are approximately 350m by 290m. The area covered by the roof is 5400 m2. The dimension are approximately 350m by 290m.

About the stadium Earlier known as the Empire Stadium. It is a football stadium. It is the 2nd largest stadium in Europe.

Roof of the stadium Covers an area of 40000 m2. Rises 52 m above the pitch.

Signature feature of the stadium It is the 134m high Wembley arch. Its internal diameter is 7m

Seats and the shape of the stadium There is 90000 seating capacity. It is a bowl like design.
