BUSINESS MODEL FT Group – 07 Assignment 2

Agrow Token Common Problem in India Inefficient Distribution Channel Too many middlemen between producers and consumers Raised costs by each step Lack of product clarity/information Entry barriers for farmers into mainstream Lack of Infrastructure: No proper guidance on advance farming Still, 96% of farmers use conventional farming methods Lack of access to the supply of organic fertilizers and pesticides Inefficient physical means of storage, processing and preservation Hurdles Only 5% of farmers are big landowners; 20 and 75% farmers are below 10 and 2 acres land, respectively More than 50% of farmers are dependent on seasonal farming 75% of farmers cannot afford infrastructure costs

Our Solution To develop a decentralized market place for farmers and retailers To enable P2P contract farming using smart contracts technology To improve supply chain management To create a repository of farmers using biometric methods To enable P2P funding for farming projects

What is Agrow? It is ABCDE of modern farming. Agricultural BlockChain-based distributed ecosystem It is a market place that facilitates the formation of storage units for cultivated crops and trading of crops It innovates crop production, storage and distribution by introducing transparency in supply chain and finance It eliminates the traditional multi– level distribution structure by removing middlemen
