What do we learn in 7th Grade?? Safety and Sanitation Kitchen Basics (Kitchen tools, Measuring, equivalents, abbreviations, and cooking terms) Nutrition and Nutrients-Food Pyramid, Myplate, and 6 essential nutrients Cooking across the pyramid Food Truck Project

Grading 80% Assessments and 20% practice What counts as an assessment? Tests, Quizzes, Projects, and Cooking Labs

What do you need for class?? Folder with loose leaf paper or a small notebook Something to write with Highlighter and a grading pen Good Atttitude!
