Choudhary (Co-Convenor), UGC-DAE CSR, Indore Dr. Mukul Gupta (Co-Convenor), A Indus Synchrotrons Users' Meeting (ISUM) is being organized jointly by Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore; Raja Ramanna Centre for Advanced Technology (RRCAT), Indore and UGC-DAE Consortium for Scientific Research (CSR), Indore at UGC-DAE CSR, Indore during March 27-29, 2019. The ISUM aims to highlight the on-going research & developmental efforts on Indus Synchrotrons and utilization of synchrotron radiation sources (SRS) on societal applications. There are around twenty beamlines facilities established which are operating through the round of clock operation of the Indus-1 and Indus-2 SRS. A large number of experiments have been carried out. A total number of ~800 research publications have already come out of this large scale research program using Indus SRS. During the meeting invited lectures by eminent experts will be delivered focusing on the development and utilization of Indus SRS. Conceptual Collaborative Research Scheme (CRS) project proposals aiming for utilization of Indus SRS are invited from faculty members of Universities and Research Institutions. The proposal should be discussed with a principal collaborator as per detail given in our website www.csr.res.in/isum. The request for participation & CRS proposal submission should be sent to: conference@csr.res.in in the prescribed format. With already a significant Indus users' base in the country, a dedicated discussion session is planned on the ongoing facilities and research programs and the future plans and possibilities..
