M5.2 Looking at relationship with the WiFi Alliance November 2014 M5.2 Looking at relationship with the WiFi Alliance IEEE 802.11 and the WiFi Alliance are mutually dependent. The relationship between the two organizations is generally effective, helped by a large number of participants common to both. The WG chair addressed the WFA board at their recent meeting on the topic of improving this relationship. We plan for the WG executive committee to meet with a number of the WFA executive/board members to consider how to improve the relationship. Expect a report in March 2015.
