How to make changes to the poster templates Install the fonts used in the template – ‘Proxima Nova & Olivier’ Locate the “.otf or .ttf” font files in the poster templates folder, and double-click, or right-click, to install them. You may need to quit and reopen PowerPoint for the new font to be displayed. Change images Option one – swap an existing image: Right click on the image and select ‘change image’ – you may need to make sizing adjustments depending on the image resolution. Option two – insert a new image: File menu > Insert > Picture from file Change text Click over the text to select the text box that you want to edit. Delete sample text and type or paste in new text. Whenever you paste in new text from another document, you can be careful to apply the new formatting to the text by clicking on the pasteboard menu after you paste text and choosing ‘use destination theme’ or ‘keep text only’ Save as PDF Save the ppt file as a new version, then when you’re ready, go to ‘Save as’ and select PDF as the file format. General tips If you ever make a change by accident, ‘undo’ (ctrl-z) is your friend! Page elements our grouped for ease of editing and maintaining alignment. To ungroup or regroup elements, right-click and select ‘group’ options. To select a single item that is part of a group, click over the item again until you see the item frame selected. To select multiple items at a time, hold down shift as you click on new items, or click and drag your cursor over the items that you want to select.
