Fig 1 The right coronary artery (RCA) anomalously originated from the distal part of the ascending aorta (AO) on the lesser curvature side close to a usual aortic cannulation site. It ran down between the ascending aorta and the main pulmonary artery toward the right atrioventricular groove. (CP = cardioplegia.)
