Supplemental Figure 1 Flow chart of the phase I trial. A total of 363 patients were recruited at the beginning of the phase I trial; three were removed. Fresh embryos were transferred in 352 patients, and 165 conceived successfully. In the first FET cycles, 43 of 167 patients conceived. In the second FET cycles, 25 from 98 conceived. Supplemental Figure 2 Diagram of the endometrial epithelial cells prepared for the coming menstruation. In the late secretory phase, the endometrial epithelial cells appear as enlarged cells and apical protrusion, which could be mistaken for pinopodes. But those enlarged necrotic or apoptotic cells are not uniform in cell size and seem to be cracking (asterisk).
