European Incubator for Business Ideas (EIBI) MANAGING HUMAN RESOURCES (1 out 2) Businesses need to look at future labour needs. The role of the Human Resources is to manage the people who work and those who wish to work within the business. When planning the workforce managers need to know: Sales forecasts for at least the next year Employee turnover figures Projected wage levels Technological developments Changes to laws impacting the working week Ésta es otra opción para una diapositiva Información general.

European Incubator for Business Ideas (EIBI) MANAGING HUMAN RESOURCES (2 out 2) Managing Employee Performance – The Cycle The cycle includes Planning, Checking-In, and Review. To begin the process, it’s necessary to review overall expectations. You then develop a performance plan that directs the employee's efforts toward achieving results. Goals and objectives are discussed throughout the year, during check-in meetings. At the end of the performance period, you review the employee's performance against expected objectives. Together, you establish new objectives for the next performance period. Ésta es otra opción para una diapositiva Información general.

External communication: exchange of information that takes place with individuals, groups and organisations outside the business (e.g. via advertising material, telephone calls to suppliers and letters to customers). Ésta es otra opción para una diapositiva Información general.
