Station Mapping Status Quo - Freshwater Currently ca. 6000 stations in WISE SoE Ca. 3500 previous EIONET water stations Mapping request with MS in 2008 with limited success

Station Mapping Status Quo - Transitional and coastal 6829 WFD stations are marked as TW (transitional waters). Mapping these stations against the EIONET stations gives only a match for 15 stations (0.2%). Using a distance of max 1 km gives a match for 1336 stations (~ 20 %).
