Meeting Minutes to Approve: October Officer Reports: Chair Financial audit committee will be led up by Tim Weil & Jim Look Call for officers for open positions Request for monthly reports from each chair of the separate committees for the 100 year anniversary activities The group brainstormed several avenues for finding a speaker for our banquet for the 100 year anniversary celebration Thank you to Krista for a great Mile High Spark! Officer Reports: Vice - Chair Dine and Learn series is well attended and successful Need speakers for 2015 Officer Reports: Treasurer August & September CBRS statements look good All transactions reconciled at the end of September Chapter rebates have been transferred from the Denver Section to the individual societies Officer Reports: Secretary Meeting minutes were approved for September’s meeting Reminder of the Fall social on November 1st with Russ Slifer from the Rocky mountain USPTO 4/8/2019

Relations Would like funding to support a variety of the projects they want to accomplish and programs they want to offer Annual meeting for CACI on 10/23 – Pat will attend CEC President’s night moved to 11/12 Jennifer asked for specific items they want us to support Propose funding for the Colorado Science Fair for 2015 Tim Weil – Past Chair Other Items: HKN from CU Boulder, Jelena Notaros Successfully migrated the COMSOC website to wordpress. Had several lessons learned he would be interested in presenting to other chapters looking to transition over their website. Their mission is to promote fun events that benefit the EE community and the department They re-painted the student resource center and got new furniture Cancelled Clouds Over the Rockies symposium with DeVry. Might consider presenting the topics at a Dine and Learn event. Want to renovate student undergrad circuits lab . 4/8/2019
Meeting Minutes to Approve: October Randy Tagg – CU Denver Physics Professor Develped Innovation Hyperlab Implemented in Aurora Public Schools K-12 Lab helps equip students in high school with opportunities for lab projects. Students attend once a week. Facility is next to Gateway HS so students can walk next door, others are bussed in for an afternoon for innovation academies. Wants to get an electronic student lab at CU Denver Wants a society rep to come down and do a white glove inspection of each area Wants help from university students for mentoring Innovation Academy is Thursday afternoons at 3pm . 4/8/2019
