Welcome Back! January 7, 2019

AGENDA for January 7th, 2019 Warm-up: what are the expectations when entering the classroom? Opening: Review expectations & seating expectations W.S: UNIT 3 PRETEST TOD: Where do you turn your work in?

WARM-UP: IN YOUR INTERATIVE NOTEBOOK what are the expectations when entering the classroom? HINT: There are FIVE expectations to follow!!!

Seating Expectations What do you feel is YOUR responsibility when at your assigned seat? Jot down three ideas in your INB

Seating Expectations Stay in your seat Clean up your area Do not write or draw on desks NO GUM/FOOD

Seating Consequences If you do not follow the expectations, there will be consequences Citations After school detention Silent Lunch Phone call Home

1W & 1C 1 warning – you will receive only ONE warning to correct your behavior and to get back on task 1 Citation – If you do not correct your behavior and continue to stay off task, you will receive a citation After the 1 citation, you will receive another one and will follow the minor behavior form Remember – THREE citations = an office referral

UNIT 3 PRETEST- MOST IMPORTANT TEST

TICKET OUT THE DOOR TURN YOUR PRETEST IN THE CORRECT SPOT PLACE THE QUESTIONS ON THE BLACK BOOKCASE IN FRONT OF THE ROOM

AGENDA for January 8th, 2019 Hall pass expectations When is it okay to interrupt? Unit 3 Pretest – iRESPOND

HALL PASS EXPECTATIONS You MUST SIGN OUT/IN on the sheet located on the red cart in the corner ALL PASSES MUST BE PUT BACK IN THE PROPER PLACE Bathroom passes- Hung on lamp Library Passes- in folder hung on wall All other passes – in green basket on red cart

BATHROOM PASSES ONLY ONE BOY AND ONE GIRL CAN BE OUT OF THE ROOM AT THE RESTROOM This is for safety reasons. If there are 8 students missing and unaccounted for, it can be dangerous if there is an emergency at school. If the bathroom passes go MISSING & do NOT return to this room, the last person who signed out/in will lose their bathroom privileges!!! Again, BE RESPONSIBLE!!!!!!

Hall Pass Consequences If you do NOT put the hall pass back in the correct spot or do not sign out/in, you WILL lose your privilege of leaving this class!! BE MORE RESPONSIBLE!

With that being said… Go to the restroom BEFORE class starts… this means = come to class on-time and ask me to go use the bathroom, drop your stuff off, then go do your business Going to the nurse – Unless you have a fever, bleeding out on the floor, vomiting in the trashcan, or personal reasons, you may not go to the nurse. DO NOT ASK TO GO TO THE VENDING MACHINE EVER – NO FOOD, NO GUM. REMEMBER? The nurse can NOT give you medicine. The nurse can NOT send you home unless you have a fever. Fever = contagious illness If during class you really have to go to the bathroom, please find an appropriate time to ask. Do NOT interrupt me while I am giving instructions or teaching. And last, but not least, you can NOT got to the nurse for ICE for anything… if you injured yourself in gym, your injury needs to be addressed then. I am noticing that students are going to get ice for their “boo-boos” and come back to the room chomping on it….

UNIT 3 PRETEST- MOST IMPORTANT TEST
