Riverside County Office of Education Service Logs Step by Step Guide Created by Roy Abshire Riverside County Office of Education

Step 1 http://pro.rcoe.k12.ca.us Use Internet Explorer or Firefox and type in the website above.

Step 2 Use your employee nbr or first initial + last name. The default password is pass.

Step 3 Click or hover the Alt Ed menu, then find and click on Manage Service Logs

Step 4 Change the Week Date if you need to go back a week. To create or edit service logs, click the pencil next to the student.

Step 5 If any information is missing on the LEFT, click the edit link next to the missing field.

Step 6 If a student is on your roster and shouldn't be, enter the leave date. Enter the missing Carrier Id or select the name from the list.

Step 7 If information is missing on the RIGHT, click the edit link next to the missing field.

Step 8 To select more than one Method, hold down the Ctrl Key and Click Enter the Site Weekly Service Minutes Enter the Service Percentage The Service Min Require should auto calculate Don't forget to select a Placement Note: This information only carries forward to new logs.

Step 9 After you entered the fields required, you can Create a new service log

Step 10 Note the minutes required and minutes logged do not equal yet. Enter your first daily log in the middle row then click the Pencil to save the log.

Step 10 Rules Minutes entered will Require a Method and Goal No Minutes will Require a Reason Plans Not Met will Require Comments Approved Logs do not require the Plan to be Met Logs for the same Site and Student will be merged Logs are historical and will not change when Service Minutes and Percentages Change.

Step 12 Continue entering the next daily log and click the Pencil to save the log.

Step 13 Note that the minutes required equal the minutes logged. If the Time, Methods or Plan is NOT met, you'll need to enter comments here.

Step 14 After a service log is created, the list will show the status here. The log above shows it has been approved by the Carrier and is now waiting to be approved by the Principal and Administrator.
