Unique Features

Unique Features Screw together construction means there are no weak pointed between riveted sections. Pre-drilled nesting holes for quick and easy installation. Antibacterial paint finish. Supplied with key lock or swivel catch (for use with padlock, not supplied) as standard – other lock options are available. Louvred doors for ventilation (except 6 Door lockers). The 1 and 2 Door, 1800mm high lockers are fitted with a coat rail and two hooks. 1 Door lockers also have a top shelf. Inset in every door to accept a number plate (58mm x 28mm). Every door has corner stiffeners, to reinforce the corner edge, in addition to full height to full height vertical door stiffeners. Behind the tough door is a unique four-way frame, making it extremely difficult to push the door into the compartment. No matter how tough the doors are, from time to time they will need to be replaced. Unlike other lockers changing an Atlas door is a simple and painless process requiring only a soft faced mallet.

Lock Types Swivel Catch The swivel catch can be used as a simple handle or can be used with a standard or combination padlock. The shackle bar of the padlock should be between 5 – 7mm. Key Lock The key/cam lock comes with two keys and has 4000 differs. The unique extra thick key minimizes the ricks of snapping. Additionally, these locks simplify management as the barrels can be replaced with a new set of keys. Combination Lock These mechanical combination locks allow the user to program a unique code. Orders include a management key enabling an authorized person to recover the previous code or to reset it. Available in black or white. Electronic + RFID Locks This includes a range of innovative, flexible & user-friendly alternatives to traditional locking systems including combination, combination + air, or RFID – compatible with: ISO1443, ISO 15693 & Legic RF.

Accessories Sloping Tops Number Plates Locker Stands 150mm high sloping tops to prevent the accumulation of litter and other items. Available in both 300mm and 450mm widths, 300mm and 450mm depths. Can be retrofitted. Number Plates Hard-wearing plastic discs which are securely fastened to the doors before dispatch. Available in bright and attractive colours. Can be retrofitted. Locker Stands Ideal for locker areas where floors need frequent cleaning. 25mm steel square tube. Adjustable levelling feet. Height 170mm to 185mm. Available wide enough to suit 2 or 3 lockers. Success Stories

Surrey Junior School A junior school in Surrey relied on coat hooks to provide personal storage to their 350 students but it was becoming difficult to manage and required an overhaul. Atlas Lockers were chosen for their high quality, colourful options and adherence to safety recommendations. Although the school was initially concerned about the limited space available, they were guided to install them in a layout that served each of the 6 year groups. Fallowfield Primary School A primary school in Fallowfield, Manchester had been using cloakroom hooks for personal storage but following concerns raised following a fire inspection they needed a new solution. The school chose Atlas Steel Lockers for their special height option that was well suited for their students to access every compartment. Following a survey to determine their best placement, 160 lockers were installed around the school with additional sloping tops.
