TIA WLAN Inter-working Standards Phase I standards support public WLAN hot spot roaming of cdma2000 subscribers for Access Control and Charging . Phase I standards are complete awaiting publication. Phase IIa standards support access to cdma2000 operator data and IMS services. Phase IIa standards are in balloting for publication. Phase IIb work supports IMS/VoIP handoffs between WLAN access and cdma2000 packet access networks. Phase IIb is in stage 2 and stage 3 discussions.
