The eight dimensions of HEInnovate Examples of the statements: The HEI is a driving force for entrepreneurship and innovation in regional, social and community development (L&G) The HEI co-designs and delivers the curriculum with external stakeholders (ETL) The HEI demonstrates active involvement in partnerships and relationships with a wide range of stakeholders (KEC) The HEI regularly assesses knowledge exchange and collaboration (MI)

Official launch of HEInnovate 18th November 2013 Key figures Official launch of HEInnovate 18th November 2013 Number of SAs: about 17k Number of HEIs with SA completion: over 950 from 70+ countries Number of users: more than 16k registered users Number of groups on the site: almost 1,400 Over 100 different supporting materials available More than 40 workshops, events Website visits from all over the world

HEInnovate can be used: To raise awareness of the idea of entrepreneurial/innovate HEI in general, or For very specific needs e.g. institutional mergers, focus on knowledge exchange, entrepreneurial teaching, performance contracts, networking among HEIs To aid discussion internally, or To engage decision makers, external partners To shape change through identification of strength and weaknesses, prioritisation of actions To measure progress towards change over time

Considering your / a partner HEI: Are there significant differences between your views compared to other internal and external stakeholders, when answering the following questions: Is the institution entrepreneurial in its leadership? Does the institution recognise and reward entrepreneurial behaviour? Does the institution enable knowledge exchange and collaboration opportunities? Can you identify any areas of strengths / areas in need of improvement at your / the partner HEI? Focusing on the key areas for improvement, which are the highest priority? What are the barriers to making improvements in these areas?
